The regeneration will deliver an attractive new neighbourhood that provides better opportunities for all, where people are proud to work, live and visit.
We want to improve the connections between the neighbourhood and wider communities, Clapham Junction station and the river Thames. This will provide inclusive and accessible routes for pedestrians and cyclists, ensuring clear linkages between the different destinations

At the centre of our masterplan is the newly designed park which will become a unique space protected from York Road, available for residents of the new and existing surrounding neighbourhoods.
A new street network will also improve access to the park and create a healthy and green environment for movement through the area.
Central to the improved neighbourhood is a new community building providing combined leisure, library, community and children’s centres. This hub of community space is positioned to optimise the views of and the buildings relationship with the park.
Also on the park side, is a re-provided improved health centre and a new workspace building, ensuring the delivery of the regeneration objectives of improving the life chances and aspirations of Wandsworth residents.
